In the warmer months London’s most hidden gem the Courtyard at 51 emerges from its winter slumber. With the world’s longest Shakespearean frieze, the Courtyard at 51 is the perfect place to sip cocktails, champagne and host events.
Spa at 51 is our luxurious spa and fitness centre, available for use by all our guests. Unwind with a made-to-measure Anne Sémonin face or body treatment. The original pioneer of the ‘à la carte’ spa concept, Anne Sémonin has designed a bespoke treatment menu, fully trained all our staff, and provided products and signature finishing touches. The Spa at 51 also hosts Osmium for Men – a natural grooming range developed especially for the discerning gentlemen. Alternatively, submit to the rigorous demands of a personal trainer.
Please note: We are refurbishing sections of the lobby and the fourth and fifth floors, which will be completed by April 2012. Work will take place between 10:00 – 17:00 hrs, Monday to Saturday. Disruption will be kept to a minimum outside these hours. In addition, please be advised that our Michelin starred Quilon restaurant is upgrading its facilities and will remain closed between 3rd January and mid March 2012.

51 Buckingham Gate wishes you all a very Happy Chinese New Year!
London will celebrate the Chinese New Year and welcome the Year of the Dragon on Sunday, 29th January 2012. The New Year’s Parade will begin at 10am at Rupert Street and proceed around the West-end passing through Chinatown, Shaftsbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road, reaching its final destination of Trafalgar Square at 12 noon. The celebration in Trafalgar Square will feature cultural performances, music, dance, acrobatics and Chinese dragons, while Chinatown comes alive with lion dances and food stalls.
The grand finale will be the fireworks display at 5:40pm at Trafalgar Square. Don’t miss it if you are in London this weekend.
